Partnering with Paradigm Learning AsiaPac (PLA), IHRP is pleased to invite you to participate in a fun and engaging session to learn more about business financial management. In addition, we also have to opportunity to feature Dr. Grant Donovan, who will share characteristics of high performance workplaces.

Session 1:

Join in a dialogue session with Dr Grant Donovan as he shares the characteristics of high performance workplaces and the role influencing skills play in helping leaders build accountable and successful work cultures

Session 2:

Ready to test your financial management skills? Join this fun game facilitated by Muhamad Azam Abdul Jalil to better understand how business works and makes money; and how strategies & decisions can impact financial and operational outcomes.

Dr Grant Donovan

A doctoral graduate from the University of Western Australia, Dr Grant is a specialist in culture change and the development of leaders for high level organisational performance.

Grant works extensively as a corporate facilitator throughout Australia, the United States and Eastern Asia, is a founding member of the Collective Genius and is co-developer of the Ideation Game. Holding three directorships, Grant is a Senior Director at Vital Smarts Australia/ New Zealand and the Managing Partner at Perception Mapping, a human behaviour research company employed globally to help diagnose the thoughts and behaviours of both customers and staff. In addition, Grant is also an active Director and Partner at Paradigm Learning AsiaPac and ANZ, a training company delivering business literacy and project management simulations in Australia, New Zealand, India, China and throughout South East Asia.

With a background in performance psychology, Grant moved to corporate coaching and consulting in 1984. He began his corporate work with Motorola and AMD in the United States before establishing himself as one of Australia’s leading management coaches.

Azam specializes in helping organizations improve performance and better position themselves for the future through:

Facilitation of corporate learning using Paradigm Learning Inc’s (PLI) innovative simulations and customized learning solutions to enhance Business and Financial Literacy, as well as competencies in Leadership and Management. His ability to design customized learning solutions as well as to facilitate them to met specific learning outcomes is well acknowledged and much appreciated by clients. He has attained the Master Trainer status accredited by PLI (USA), a leader in learning innovation with over 25 years of track record with MNCs and large corporations in the US, Europe and across Asia.

Azam has wide-ranging experiences in these areas. He has trained and provided consultancy to businesses across industries in Asia and the Middle East. These ranged from multi-national corporations (MNCs), public listed companies and statutory boards.

Azam co-founded Action Advisory Services in 2006 to provide business capability development advisory services, and co-founded Paradigm Learning AsiaPac with Dr Grant Donovan and Joyce Yeo in 2012 with the purpose of enhancing business acumen, leadership, talent management, change and project management capabilities.

Closing Date for Registration: 12 July 2019. Due to limited seats, do note that registration is based on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration link will only be available in the Business and Financial Acumen CoP folder on IHRP-Connect.

A confirmation email will be sent to successfully registered participants by the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP) at a later date. You will be awarded 2 CPD hours for each of the session attended.
