Remote Assessment Dates & Key Information
If you have any questions on the remote proctoring option that IHRP is offering for our certification assessment, feel free to contact us at assessment@ihrp.sg
What is remote proctoring?
Remote proctoring is an option that offers our IHRP candidates the convenience and flexibility to take the assessment at their homes or offices while maintaining the integrity and credibility of IHRP certification.
What to expect for assessment conducted through remote proctoring?
- Before the assessment day: Candidates are encouraged to conduct a system check to ensure that their device and connectivity meet the minimum system requirements.
- Pre-assessment check: On the day of the assessment, candidates will be asked to show their identification document (NRIC or passport) to verify their identity. Candidates will also be asked to use their webcam to scan the room where they will be taking their assessment.
- During the assessment: Candidates will be monitored throughout the assessment session and the entire assessment session will be recorded. If candidate engages in any of the acts listed as misconduct, an incident report will be submitted to IHRP.
What are the technical requirements needed for remote proctoring?
- A reliable laptop or desktop with built-in or external webcam, microphone and speakers.
- A strong and steady internet connection.
- An operating system that is updated to the latest version.
What are the test environment requirements for remote proctoring?
- A comfortable, private, and well-lit room, which is free from any noise and distractions.
- No other person including children or animals will be permitted in the test room during the assessment.
- Candidate is to be seated at a desk, facing directly in front of the webcam and to make sure to stay visible throughout the session.
- The desk must be clear of any materials and electronic devices (unless otherwise specified).
