At the Conferment Ceremony on 25 May 2017, it was announced that a new tripartite organisation will be tasked to implement the national HR certification framework.
This new entity is named the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP), and is jointly set up by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).
Among its various mandates, the key initiative is to implement the new IHRP Certification, renamed from NHRPCF. IHRP Certified Professional (IHRP-CP), and the IHRP Senior Professional (IHRP-SP).
