You will be part of a dynamic team that will set up and operationalise a new centre of expertise which serves to help enterprises redesign jobs, spur workforce transformation and support business transformation efforts. This role will require coordination between relevant stakeholders, including key partners and intermediaries, to support enterprises on Job Redesign (JR) efforts within the local ecosystem.
To promulgate the benefits of JR to enterprises and drive the adoption of JR best practices across sectors through the development of resources and programmes. These will be done in collaboration with various key partners and agencies across various sectors through engagement sessions.
The job responsibilities will cover 3 main areas:
Thought Leadership
- Identify emerging perspectives and best practices in JR and disseminate across enterprises, in collaboration with academia, industry and consulting firms
- Incorporate relevant insights into the design of ready-to-go broad sectoral JR playbooks and case studies
Capability Development
- Support the development of JR capability development resources, programmes and initiatives for the relevant sectors
- Support development and optimisation of internal processes and work streams to enable the centre to better support enterprises’ workforce transformation efforts
Advocacy & Action
- Promulgate job redesign in enterprises and sectors through a suite of JE resources, programmes and tools developed by the centre
- Collaborate with key industry partners to shape the development of broad-based and sector-relevant toolkits and capability development programmes
- Support progressive enterprises through sectoral outreach with industry partners to help redesign and transform job roles
- Tertiary qualifications and preferably with a minimum 3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Consulting, Business, Human Resource)
- Experience in Organisation Design, Job Redesign or performing Job Evaluation preferred
- IHRP Certification preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong planning, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience in handling technology-enabled programmes is preferred (e.g. Digitalisation, Innovation)
- Experience in performing JE is preferred
- Prior relevant work experience in the public sector or alongside public agencies would be an advantage
