Responsibilities

This role is responsible for building high performing teams through performance management processes and tools. You will also play an important role to engage, advise and support business units on people matters as a HR Business Partner. The key responsibilities of this role include:

Performance Management

  • Manage and implement board-wide appraisal and promotion exercise.
  • Implement annual performance bonus and merit increment processes.
  • As subject matter holder of performance management policies, frameworks and processes, provide advisory services to the Senior Management, people managers and staff members.

HR Business Partner

  • Manage the full spectrum of the recruitment cycle from talent sourcing to negotiation of offers
  • Partner business units to review sourcing and selection strategies to ensure a pipeline of high-quality talent for the polytechnic
  • Provide positive employee/candidate experience from onboarding to offboarding
  • Partner business unit management to address and enhance employee engagement and retention

Others

  • Perform statistical reporting and data analysis
  • Develop appropriate action plans to improve work processes
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years’ HR or related experience in performance management and HR business partnership, with good knowledge of the Employment Act and Workday system
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resource, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Familiarity with Public Sector Human Resource policies, practices and guidelines will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented and comfortable with numbers
  • A team player who is proactive, resourceful and confident
  • IHRP Certification Preferred

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
