Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in helping clients evaluate changes in business processes, and identify, develop, and implement organizational effectiveness interventions.

You will support and assist the Project Directors to:
• Design, manage and sustain implementation of solutions/engagements to meet the needs of clients
(proposal development, diagnostics, people engagement, intervention design and implementation,
• Contribute to practice development by introducing/developing new tools and methodologies
• Identify and generate new business opportunities and grow new and existing accounts
• Drive and sustain the aAdvantage culture through staff engagement, coaching and role modelling

Qualifications

• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience
• Strong domain experience in at least one of the areas such as
organisation development, human capital process improvements, change
management, customer experience design and implementation, service
culture development and cascading
• Resilience and tenacity
• Engaging and business savvy individuals, preferably with consulting
experience (internal or external)
• Self starter, self motivated with a lifelong learning and growth mindset
• Team player with good people management skills including clear
communications and ability to establish rapport and trust
• Intrapreneurial strong sense of ownership and responsibility, willing
and eager to try new things, courageously questions the status quo when
appropriate • IHRP Certification Preferred

Dave Ulrich is the Rensis Likert Professor at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and a partner at the RBL Group, a consulting firm focused on helping organizations and leaders deliver value. He has published over 200 articles and book chapters and over 30 books. He edited Human Resource Management 1990-1999, served on editorial board of 4 Journal and on the Board of Directors for Herman Miller (16 years), has spoken to large audiences in 90 countries; performed workshops for over half of the Fortune 200; coached successful business leaders, and is a Distinguished Fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources. He is known for continually learning, turning complex ideas into simple solutions, and creating real value to those he works with in three fields.

Organization. With co-authors, he has influenced thinking about modern organizations (Reinventing the Organization) by empirically showing how organization delivers 4 times business results over talent (Victory Through Organization), defined organizations as bundles of capabilities (Organization Capability) and worked to delineate capabilities of talent management (Why of Work; Talent Accelerator), culture change (GE Workout), learning (Learning Organization Capability), and collaboration (Boundaryless Organization).

Leadership. Paul is currently the CHRO & VP for Sustainability with Bridgestone responsible for the China and Asia Pacific region (CAP) and is a key member of the Executive Committee of Bridgestone CAP that is fully responsible for the strategy, direction and financial success of its regional business that spans across 10 countries and 14 business entities.

He serves as a Member of the Nomination & Compensation Committee and Governance & Risk Committee of the Board of Bridgestone CAP and sits in two Bridgestone Global Committee – the Global HR Committee overseeing the Group’s Global HR transformation and the Global Sustainability Committee overseeing the Group’s sustainable development through creating safer, healthier and more sustainable environment and communities.

He has almost 30 years of global HR experience with proven success in linking HR strategies to the business and providing HR thought leadership across a dispersed region. He has worked for global MNCs such as Exxon Chemical, Lennox and Bekaert in varying senior roles and across all levels of HR from operations to corporate HR up to and including Chief HR responsibilities and was based in Dallas, USA and Shanghai, China for almost 14 years on overseas assignments. His broad HR business partnering and consulting skills includes leading strategy development, organization design & culture transformation, leadership & executive development, talent management strategies, executive compensation and the development of the HR function to meet sustainable business results. In his senior roles, he partners closely with CEO and C-suites, Senior Management teams and do work with Board of Directors.

He serves on the Board of LEAP201 as Board Member (Non - Executive Director) and Member of Executive Committee that focuses on lifting low-income households above the poverty line in a sustainable way.

Dr Fermin A. Diez, IHRP-MP, CCP, SPHR

Dr. Fermin Diez has 35 years of experience in human resources, including consulting, corporate, and academic roles in 40 countries.

As a corporate executive, he was Regional Head of HR for two large MNCs in Asia Pacific and in Latin America. Currently, he is Deputy CEO at the National Council for Social Service, where he looks after strategic people issues in this sector.

As a consultant, he has advised multinationals, local companies and public sector organizations at the Board and C-Suite levels. He also led the team that advised on the review of the pay program for the political appointees in Singapore.

Fermin has co-authored three books on HR: Human Capital and Global Business Strategy, Remuneration Handbook, and Fundamentals of HR Analytics. His articles have appeared in many international business and HR publications. His current area of research is the comparative effectiveness of various pay schemes. He serves as adjunct faculty at Singapore Management University and Nanyang Technological University.

He was previously on the Taylor’s Education Group Board as well as the Singapore Management University Business School Advisory Board, the Children's Cancer Foundation Board, and the Board of Directors of WorldatWork, the Board Of Jurong Health Group and the HR Committee of the National University Health System. He sits on the PSD HR Talent Development Committee (TDC). He is also on the Board and chairs the Assessment Committee of the Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP), where he is also the Dean of HR Studies.

Dr. Diez obtained his PhD in General Management from SMU. His MBA is from the Wharton School, and his BA in Psychology is from the University of Michigan. He is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and an IHRP Master Professional (IHRP-MP)

In addition to Datuk Nora Manaf’s role as the Group Chief Human Capital Officer and member of the Group EXCO of Maybank, Datuk Nora chairs several national-level committees and holds several Board memberships. Datuk Nora’s Board memberships include the Board of Etiqa General Insurance Berhad and MBB Labs Private Limited, Bangalore.

Datuk Nora is actively engaged in the country’s Financial Institutions, Employers’ and Education circles via the leadership roles she holds. In 2018, Datuk Nora was appointed to the Malaysian Human Resource Minister’s Advisory Group. She is also President of the Malayan Commercial Banks’ Association (MCBA), Chairman of the Banking Sector HR Networking Group (HRNG), Council Member of Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF), a member of the National Labour Advisory Committee (NLAC), a council member of Industry Advisory Council (IAC) of Department of Polytechnic & Community College Education (DPCCE), and an Advisory Council Member of Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera as well as for the University-Industry Advisory Council Universiti Utara Malaysia. Datuk Nora was recognised as a Global Top 50 Human Resource Professional and was appointed into Talent Compact 4.0, an Industry Talent Advisory Panel of Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad. In 2022, Datuk Nora was appointed into the Board of Trustees, Khazanah Foundation.

Datuk Nora is also a Member of the Board of Examiners for the Asia Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB), Member of the Asia Pacific Industry Advisory Panel for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Qualified Person for Training (QPRT) for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

In 2020, Datuk Nora was appointed as an Adjunct Professor by Pusat Citra Universiti of the National University of Malaysia. She is also an Adjunct Professor appointed by the College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) since 2015. In July 2019, Datuk Nora was also appointed into the Board of Advisors for UUM’s undergraduate programme for Bachelor of Applied Linguistics and Business Administration with Honours.

Datuk Nora is active in her quest to make a difference to empower women. She is the Executive Sponsor for Maybank’s Women Mentor Women Council established in 2013, as well as a Mentor for the ICAEW-TalentCorp Women in Leadership Programme. In 2016, Datuk Nora was awarded the “Beacon of Light” award at the National Women in Leadership Summit organised by the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI) in partnership with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. Datuk Nora also spoke at the Women in Leadership seminar at Oxford University in 2016. The Singapore Management University (SMU) published a Case Study, titled “Maybank: Organisational Transformation through Human Resources” in collaboration with Datuk Nora in 2019. On 31 March 2021, Datuk Nora was conferred the Top 50 Impact Lifetime Achievement Awards for Women Excellence by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific.

Datuk Nora is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Datuk Nora also holds a post-grad certification in Human Resource Development from Cornell University and is a certified Gallup Strengths finder Coach Level II. She is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School. In February 2020, Datuk Nora was conferred the Chartered Banker (CB) by the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland.
