IHRP’s tripartite partner, NTUC recently unveiled an ambitious initiative to help workers find new jobs through the Jobs Security Council. IHRP certified professionals will be working closely with their union counterparts to provide information so that workers at risk could be provided upstream help, which could be in the form of pre-retrenchment training or quicker job-matching on a broader scale. They can also notify the network of companies under Job Security Council about vacancies they are trying to fill.
