IHRP Connect

150 IHRP Connect points is equivalent to 1 CPD Hour

Access 650+ bite-sized curated learning materials across the 7 core future-ready HR skills/Community of Practices (CoPs). Download IHRP Connect on Apple store, Playstore or log on via IHRP Portal.

To claim your CPD hours: Points will be automatically synced and converted to CPD hours in IHRP Portal.

IHRP Events

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP plans many exciting multi-model learning events to support you in your professional growth journey and create opportunities for you to network with your peers in the IHRP Community.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit thank-you/confirmation emails from the organiser.

IHRP Skills Badge

1 Skills Badge equals 30 CPD hours

You may apply for an IHRP Skills Badge if you have completed projects relating to the following areas: People Analytics, Organisational Change, Strategic Workforce Planning, HR Technology (More Skills Badges to be launched soon).

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the award mail from IHRP and a link to your LinkedIn profile with the Skills Badge displayed.

Assessor (External)

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP encourages you to contribute to the community by participating as Assessor such as the SPRING/ESG Business Excellence Assessment.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit letter of appointment.

Authoring Books

1 published book min 100 pages long equals 30 CPD hours

IHRP is supportive of your contributions in sharing your knowledge through authoring books on HR topics and recognises the time and efforts spent on the planning and research of materials to be included within the book.

Conferences

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP encourages you to broaden your perspectives by attending conferences to expand your knowledge about the latest trends in HR and to broaden your network with the wider HR community.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit confirmation email of the event.

Curriculum Development / Content Curation

1 HR-related programme containing several modules equals 30 CPD hours

IHRP acknowledges your participation in curriculum development and content curation of a formal learning programme relating to Human Resources. This may involve the efforts spent in developing the modules, learner’s guide and participant’s materials etc.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit your Letter of Appointment/Validation and Link to the programme outline and details.

Teach HR-related Topics

1 hour of teaching equals 3 CPD hours (Inclusive of teaching preparation time)

IHRP encourages you to invest in the development of others. By sharing your HR knowledge and experience, you can uplift the capabilities of HR professionals and nurture the next generation of HR talent.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter from the organisation acknowledging the work done and a record of course duration.

Focus Groups

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP often conducts focus group sessions, sometimes in partnership with our tripartite partners.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit your letter of participation/attendance.

Mentoring / Coaching

Mentoring/Coaching

1 hour of mentoring/coaching equals 1 CPD hour

By volunteering as a mentor/coach, you can give back to the HR profession and reflect on your own career goals and practices through investing in the development of others.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter formalising the mentoring or coaching arrangement, the log capturing the dates, time and duration of the engagement sessions and a record of activities conducted.

Publish Articles or Case Studies for HR / Business Publications

1 article/case study at least 650 words equals 8 CPD hours

IHRP encourages you to write and publish articles and case studies about HR-related trends and topics to share your knowledge and expertise with the wider HR community.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit a link to the published articles/case studies.

Speaking Engagement

1 hour of speaking equals 3 CPD hour (Inclusive of preparation time)

IHRP encourages you to share your knowledge and subject-matter expertise through conferences, panels, seminars, workshops, webinars, etc.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter of invitation from the organiser highlighting duration.

Participation in National Level Tripartite HR Taskforce / Committee

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP recognises your contribution towards participating as an appointed member in a national-level Tripartite HR Committee/Project such as Citizen’s Panel on Work-Life Harmony, HR Industry Transformation Advisory Panel (HRTAP) to discuss current issues surrounding the HR field of work and provide insights and guidance in shaping the way forward.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter of invitation and meeting attendance records.

Sharing of Lessons Learned Synopsis on IHRP Connect as a Post

1 post of at least 650 words equals 8 CPD hours

IHRP encourages you to share your lessons learned synopsis from either participating in various non-IHRP HR committees, taskforces, special projects or book/trends report summaries with the rest of our community on IHRP Connect as a thought post.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the link to your IHRP post or a screenshot of the post.

Upskilling

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP encourages you to sign up for courses both in-class or online (e.g. e-learning, degrees, etc.), or attend any workshops or seminars to help you develop your skills and knowledge in HR (including in-house HR-related training). These learning activities should be HR-related or aligned with our IHRP Body of Competencies. You can attend courses, workshops or seminars from any provider. You may consider this list of IHRP accredited courses or consider attending our Skills Framework Workshop.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter or certificate of participation/attendance.

Volunteering with IHRP

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP recognises the value of volunteering. You may submit your interest to us by writing to community@ihrp.sg. Please note that the volunteer slots require an application and selection process and will be subject to availability.

To claim your CPD hours: Submit the letter of appointment and volunteer hours logged by the IHRP volunteer programme lead.

Webinars

1 hour of participation equals 1 CPD hour

IHRP also encourages you to attend HR-related webinars and customise learning opportunities according to your schedule. There are many HR-related webinars that are available online that you can learn from at your own pace.
