Logging In to IHRP Portal
Q: I can’t log into IHRP Portal. I received the message ‘An account cannot be found for the provided user ID’ while logging into IHRP Portal.
A: Please click on ‘Sign Up Now’, entering the same email address that you receive IHRP EDMs with. Please do not use LinkedIn login function. Subsequently, you can sign in as usual. Please refer to this step-by-step visual guide.
Recertification Requirements
Q: Where can I re-affirm my commitment to the IHRP Code of Professional Conduct?
A: You can do this on the online application form.
Q: What happens if I do not have 45 CPD hours to recertify?
A: We have revised the CPD hours to 45 hours and this is applicable only for those who are due for recertification in 2022.
For those whose recertification was due in year 2021, please contact recertification@ihrp.sg for next steps.
Q: Am I able to clock non-IHRP learning activities towards my CPD Hours?
A: Yes, as long as they are aligned with our IHRP Body of Competencies. You can attend courses, workshops or seminars from any provider (including online).
Q: Do I need IHRP to formally verify my CPD activities before submitting my application?
A: No. Please proceed to submit your application once you have logged your CPD activities.
Q: Can I still apply for recertification if I am currently not in an HR role?
A: Yes. Please email recertification@ihrp.sg for a case-by-case review.
Q: When should I submit my application?
A: You are encouraged to submit your application with payment minimally 3-4 weeks before your certification end date to prevent your certification from lapsing.
Q: Am I still able to apply for recertification if my current certification has lapsed?
A: Yes. However, you will lose access to your IHRP Connect access during the period of lapse. Do note that if your certificate remains inactive for several months, the system will trigger removal from our IHRP registry, and you will need to retake the full certification assessment papers again. As you have already utilised the one-time government subsidy, the re-take is priced at the full standard fee of $1,500 for IHRP-CP and $2,500 for IHRP-SP respectively.

Q: Do I need to pay for recertification?
A: Yes. Recertification fee of $450+gst is payable and must be paid in full. The fee covers three years of certificate validity.
If your organisation is a Corporate Partner (CPP), you are entitled to a promo code that gives you 10% off recertification fees (admin fee not included). Reach out to corporatepartnership@ihrp.sg for more details.
Q: Do I need to pay for recertification?
A: IHRP Professionals due for recertification have two payment options: paying in full (i.e. $450), or paying in 3 instalments which include a yearly admin fee of $25. Please refer to the table below for a more detailed breakdown. The fees indicated below are applicable to both CP and SP Recertification.

Q: Why is the cost for recertification more costly than a fresh certification?
A: Singaporeans/Permanent Residents receive government subsidies for fresh certification. There are no subsidies available for recertification.
Q: Are there any discounts or promo codes?
A: If your organisation is a Corporate Partner (CPP) with IHRP, you are entitled to a special recertification promo code for 10% off recertification fees. To receive this promo code, please check with your corporate liaison or contact corporatepartnership@ihrp.sg.
Q: How can my organisation join as a Corporate Partner? Are there any fees involved?
A: Please contact corporatepartnership@ihrp.sg, and they will assist you to onboard as a CPP. Joining as a CPP is free of charge, and your organisation will get to enjoy a myriad benefits!
Q: What mode of payment is accepted?
A: We accept all credit card payment methods.

A: This message indicates that there are sections in your profile that are incomplete. Once you fill in all sections of your profile, you will be able to begin your recertification application.
Q: What should I do when this error message appears?
There is an existing active application available in the system. Kindly proceed with the existing application or cancel the application by contacting IHRP.
A: The message indicates that you have an application in draft mode and should continue with that. The draft of your application can be found in the ‘My Applications’ tab. Click on the application no. and you should be redirected to where you left off on your application.
Q: What should I do when this Error Message appears?
