The People, Performance & Culture (PPC) team contributes to making KPMG a great place to work by implementing best-practice programs to attract, recruit, develop, groom and retain the best and brightest talents. The team looks after the full HR spectrum including but not limited to recruitment, manpower planning, performance and talent management and staff communications.
We are looking for a dynamic relationship builder and collaborator as a HR Business Partner (HRBP). In this role, you will work in a team to partner our business in helping to achieve the people agenda through appropriate delivery of people services.
Strategic HR business partnering
-Demonstrate business acumen and industry knowledge and effectively interpret business and financial performance metrics to identify key challenges, and strategic solutions related to workforce performance, people practices, people investment and continuous improvement measures. This comes with a good understanding of the nature of work in the function and business needs.
-Being a trusted advisor to provide regular and timely operational advice, e.g. people practices, local employment laws and HR trends, to key stakeholders to drive and support people initiatives and facilitate decision making.
-Provide inputs and feedback to PPC Leads to support the development of and updating of PPC policies, processes and initiatives relating to employee life cycle to ensure its relevance to the business and people.
-Collaborate and partner the team to develop, propose and implement the Business Unit’s People strategies and plans pertaining to employee life cycle, policies and processes.
-Drive the planning and implementation of activities to continuously build positive employee relations.
-Resolve people issues to deliver pragmatic outcomes.
-Ensure high quality in all deliverables whilst meeting deadlines.
Analytics & Reporting
-Develop insights from HR metrics through internal and external sources as well as formal and informal interactions to formulate people initiatives, and shape people strategies.
-Facilitate action plans to identify improvement measures, as well as review the extent of alignment of people outcomes against business outcomes.
-Handle enquiries related to HR and/or provide guidance on how to obtain the support, and consult for complex people matters.
-Create communication and/ or presentation materials in regards of people related matters in the Function, supported by Internal Communications if required.
-Communicate and engage key stakeholders e.g. Employee group, Head of Function, People Partner(s) via formal and informal channels (individual, small group or large group) to ensure they are informed and engaged timely.
-At least 6 years of Human Resource experience in various HR specialists’ functions, e.g. Compensation & Benefits and Operations, where a minimum of 2 years in a HR business partnering role.
-A Bachelor’s degree with strong data collection, analysis and presentation skills, e.g. strong in .xls and .ppt skills and savvy with systems.
-Strong project management & is a great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-IHRP Certification Preferred
