As a key economic driver for Singapore, the Built Environment (BE) sector is braced for exciting changes and challenges in the near future with HR professionals in the sector at the forefront of these changes.
IHRP recently participated in the Built Environment HR Forum2019, with the theme “Develop your Workforce to transform the Built Environment sector”, in partnership with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and supporting industry partners.
The audience of HR decision makers, practitioners and leaders in BE firms, received insights on the best practices to attract, develop and retain talents in the BE sector.
They also had the opportunity to hear from firms who have completed their organisational assessment based on the Human Capital Diagnostic Tool (HCDT), sharing their HR practices and experiences in areas of attraction and development and partook in a networking session with various agencies to find out more details on initiatives on how to uplift their firms’ HR practices and share their views on the challenges faced by HR in the BE Sector.
