Assessment & Insights

The Assessment & Insights (ASI) team, which you will be a part of, oversees the end-to-end business operations for the national HR certification and multiple Human Capital (HC) projects on behalf of government agencies and statutory boards. These include projects aimed at establishing the current state of HC maturity in organisations and initiatives to strengthen the HR profession in Singapore through training and skills development.

The Engagement (ENG) team, which you will be a part of, drives the engagement and outreach to the HR and business communities in support of Human Capital development. The team is commonly seen as the business development and partnership function of IHRP, engaging and managing the pipeline of community/corporate leads that will ultimately lead to conversion for certification.

Digital & Technology

The Digital & Technology team, which you will be a part of, is responsible for supporting our Organization’s Technology requirements and Digital solutions implementation. They work closely with other teams to implement strategies to engage our audience through digital channels and provide platforms that support the communities we had built.

Professional Practices

The Professional Practices (PP) team, which you will be a part of, will champion the setting and upholding of the gold standards in HR by implementing the IHRP Professional Certification Framework and promoting public confidence in the standards of HR professionals certified under IHRP.

Assistant Manager, Professional Practices

Job Responsibilities include:

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Professional Practices with learning programming and engagement activities for our IHRP certified community.

A) Recertification Process
• Project-manage the recertification process, including reviewing/processing applications,
monitoring CPD fulfilment and conducting audits on 10% of the CPD records submitted
• Support PP team with rolling out the recertification campaigns and activities, including
building recertification FAQs and marketing collateral

B) Community Insights Survey
• Project manage the rollout and analysis of the community insights survey, including
developing the survey update presentation to the Management team and Committees

C) Community Engagement
• Manage the community mailbox to respond to queries from certified professionals
• Monitor the chatter on IHRP Connect (IHRP’s mobile learning platform) to identify
common themes and develop/update the FAQ document

D) IHRP Community Learning & Development
• Support CPD Programme Manager with event planning, content research and
coordination of CoP Taskforce meetings and activities
• Support Content Manager with research and development of content pieces and
thought leadership outputs
• Support the PP team in managing the course accreditation process


Education and experience:

  • Fresh graduate with good internship experience or 0-1 years of experience in a professional
    services environment
  • Work/internship experience or project exposure to event planning, learning content
    development, research/analysis and community engagement
  • A strong project-manager, service-orientated and systematic thinker with the ability to manage
    diverse external and internal stakeholders
  • A relevant degree in human resources is desirable

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas and outputs with confidence and poise
  • Self-directed, attention to detail and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and decisions
  • Passionate about making a difference in the HR Professional community in a fast-paced and
    dynamic environment
